RedCard Unites Payers for Change |
ST. LOUIS – Payers
have a new voice in RedCard, a healthcare payer alliance dedicated to innovation
and superior service. Since its public
launch at the Self Insurance Institute of America’s (SIIA) National Conference
in 2006, RedCard’s blend of outsourced services and collaborative interaction
has met uniquely favorable response. Now, with the completion of their
production facility, 50+ regional and super-regional payers are queued to start
processing with RedCard.
“Our focus right now is getting the RedCard into the hands of our client’s plan member,” said Eric Schaefer, RedCard President, “as the popularity grows,
we’re moving into new opportunities created by the group working together.”
Supported by payer commitments representing 2.3MM employee
lives and an active sales pipeline of 3.5MM employee lives, the group is on
track to make its own opportunities. Implementation began in summer of 2007
with distribution of the first 5,000 ID cards in 9 different states.
The RedCard, a ‘best practice’ design honed from 25 different
payer cards, is the featured outsourced service of the alliance. Using the
newest custom printing technologies, RedCard is able to offer this superior
product and value to organizations often burdened by fulfillment constraints.
